Research Assistant I in the Department of Pharmacology and Pharmacy (Ref.: 523659 )

Duties and Responsibilities

  • conduct research and experiments to support the development of new products.
  • assist in the logistics arrangement for collaboration with partners.
  • maintain accurate and detailed laboratory records and documentation.
  • assist in preparation and quality control of biological samples.
  • assist in managing laboratory inventory and ordering additional stock as required.
  • assist in conducting animal studies.
  • contribute to the preparation of technical reports, presentations, and publications.

    • Requirements

  • a Bachelor's or Master's degree preferably in biological sciences, chemistry or related disciplines.
  • 1-2 years of experience in conducting research, preferably both in vitro and in vivo projects.
  • strong knowledge of basic scientific principles and experimental techniques. A strong sense of responsibility, good organizational skills and an excellent command of written and spoken English.
  • detailed-oriented with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

    • What We Offer

    The appointment will commence as soon as possible on a 1-year temporary basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.
