Research Assistant I/II in the Hong Kong Jockey Club Centre for Suicide Research and Prevention within the Faculty of Social Sciences (Ref.: 518928 )

Duties and Responsibilities

  • plan, prepare and implement mental health awareness events for local residents
  • plan, prepare and deliver mental health awareness on social media
  • assist in the logistics arrangement of the programmes
  • conduct literature reviews, data collection and report writing

  • perform other duties as assigned

  • Requirements

  • a Bachelor's degree with at least 3 years' experience, preferably in social sciences, psychology, or related disciplines
  • a strong sense of responsibility
  • good communication and organizational skills
  • a good command of written and spoken Chinese and English, including fluent Cantonese
  • attentive to details
  • experience in planning and developing mental health awareness events
  • familiarizing with design software such as Canva are preferred, but not essential

    The appointment will commence as soon as possible on a 1-year temporary basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.
