Research Assistant I/II in School of Biomedical Sciences (Ref.: 516533) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

The Jung Kim Lab ( www. jungkimlab.com) is actively hiring enthusiastic scientists. We are seeking answers to the fundamental question in cancer biology, “How do tumors cause host morbidity and mortality?”. Specifically, the appointee will work on a project to investigate mechanisms of how tumor- secreted cytokines and hormones disrupt distant organs in hosts using Drosophila tumor models.

Applicants should possess a degree or above with a good track record in Biological Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, or Biochemistry. They should be energetic and driven with good communication skills. Enquiries about the duties of the post should be sent to Dr. Jung Kim at jungkim@hku.hk.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
