Research Assistant I/II in the Centre for Psycho-oncology Research &
Teaching and the Division of Behavioural Sciences of the School of Public
Health (Ref.:515404) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with
the possibility of renewal)
Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree, preferably in psychology,
social sciences, sport science or a related discipline. They should have a
good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, good problem-solving
skills, good interpersonal and communication skills, and knowledge of basic
statistics. They should be a self-motivated and organized team player.
Experience in research and using SPSS for data analysis is highly preferred. A
keen interest in psycho-oncology research would be an advantage.
The appointee will work closely with HKU Jockey Club Institute of Cancer Care
on an implementation study. He/She will recruit participants in the clinical
setting, manage datasets, analyse data, and oversee the study progress.
