Research Assistant I/II in the Department of Psychiatry (Ref.: 511781) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree in psychology, social sciences or any related disciplines. Graduate research experience or a plan to pursue graduate research would be an advantage. The ability to communicate in Cantonese is essential. Applicants should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, good communication and interpersonal skills, a proactive problem-solving approach, a strong commitment to high quality research, and the will to persist and persevere through challenges. The appointee will participate in research on early psychosis and treatment resistant state of schizophrenia utilizing clinical, neurocognitive, biological and neuroimaging approaches. He/She will develop and execute research programmes, conduct clinical interviews and neurocognitive assessments with patients, assist in neuroimaging processing, and perform data entry, analysis and management. Opportunities to prepare academic manuscripts will be available. Those who have responded to the previous advertisement (Ref.: 509029) need not re-apply.
