Research Assistant I/II in the Department of Social Work and Social Administration (Ref.: 511649) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling, Statistics or other health and social sciences related disciplines. Those who are graduating in Spring 2022 are welcomed. They should have a good command of written and spoken English. Linguistically diverse applicants interested in diversity/multiculturalism-related topics, such as stigma and health, trauma and resilience, intergroup relations, Buddhist psychology, are encouraged to apply. Knowledge and experience in quantitative data analysis is preferred.

The appointee will assist the Principal Investigator in managing research projects (e.g., lived experiences of sexual orientation and racial/ethnic minorities, multicultural counseling self-efficacy among trainees). He/She will be responsible for literature review, data management and analysis, preparing presentations and reports, and performing any other duties as assigned. There will be opportunities to work with stakeholders of marginalized communities, collaborate with local and international scholars, and present at regional/international conferences.
