Research Assistant I/II in the Division of Dermatology of the Department of Medicine, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 520360) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis or one-year temporary basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree, with at least 1 year's post- qualification experience. They should have basic knowledge of biostatistics or related disciplines; a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese); a strong sense of responsibility; good organizational skills; and the ability to multi-task and work independently as well as in a team. They should also be capable of blood-drawing in adult and pediatric patients. Experience in clinical research, coordination of clinical trials, analysis of biostatistics using SPSS and/or R program would be advantages.

The appointee will work in the Division of Dermatology. He/She will be responsible for data collection, entry and analysis; database management; communicating with participants; and other duties as assigned.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. The appointment on fixed-term basis will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary.
