Research Assistant I/II (holding the functional title of Project Coordinator) in the School of Nursing (Ref.: 519421) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree or above in Nursing, Public Health, Social Sciences, Psychology, or other healthcare-related disciplines. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; and an appropriate level of IT knowledge as well as knowledge of basic image and video editing. They should also be responsible; highly motivated with good interpersonal, communication and organizational skills; and able to work independently and in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
The appointee will assist the Project Director, Professor Sophia S.C. Chan, in coordinating and conducting research, education and training activities related to primary health care interventions and development, health coaching, surveillance, and COVID-19 rehabilitation. He/She will also assist in liaising with relevant stakeholders; tracking project progress; preparing promotional and dissemination events and materials; performing data entry, data analysis and other duties as assigned. On-the-job training related to research and statistical methods will be provided. Irregular working hours may be required occasionally. Those with a passion for, and have done work on, promoting development of primary health care in Hong Kong would be desirable. Shortlisted candidate will be invited to attend an interview and/or a written test.
