We are excited to offer the opportunity for an innovative and driven individual to join our friendly, welcoming, supportive and inclusive team within the Genomics unit as a Research Assistant for six months in the first instance with the possibility of extension depending on funding.

You will be working with Professor Rameen Shakur and his group and will be responsible for supporting genomics research and instigating lab protocols for sequencing, preparing DNA and RNA library samples and using your problem solving skills to overcome experimental issues and solve logistical issues.

You will be a team player and able to work under Prof. Shakur's direction. You will be supporting the research group in undertaking research, analysis and/or evaluation of projects.

This is a full-time, fixed-term position for 6 months.
