Job Summary

The research specialist will work with several multidisciplinary PIs and the Department of Emergency Medicine faculty for the investigation and validation of machine learning on bioinformatics data, related to use of electronic health records and novel analytical tools to guide precision health to investigate machine learning/predictive models on health outcomes for a variety of illnesses in both pediatric and adult emergency medicine patients. The goals of our work will be to improve quality of care, value, and efficiency of patient care, leading to enhanced patient outcomes and population health.

Required Qualifications

Bachelors degree or higher.

Has demonstrated experience and understanding of emergency medicine and clinical patient presentations

Personal commitment to high quality work and exceptional attention to detail

Team player attitude with excellent organizational, multi-tasking skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision and regularly exercise judgment in setting priorities.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.

Desired Qualifications

Knowledge of IRB and experience with eResearch a plus.

Demonstrated ability to work well under time constraints and meet deadlines.

Ability to serve diverse populations.

A high degree of initiative and resourcefulness.

Demonstrated ability to multi-task and work independently with minimal supervision with diverse teams of people in a diplomatic, collaborative and effective manner.

Background Screening
