The candidate should have a doctoral degree in the field of exact and natural sciences (physical sciences).
The successful candidate will conduct research in the field of plasma physics, in the area of numerical modeling of the plasma in fusion devices such as tokamak or stellarator as part of research projects conducted by IPPLM. The employed candidate will be responsible for: performing numerical analysis of physical processes taking place in the central and edge plasma of the existing fusion devices; programming in FORTRAN language; developing, verifying and supervising multi-fluid numeric codes describing the fusion plasma in tokamaks; publishing its scientific research in reputable scientific journals; participating and presenting the results of its research at project meetings and conferences; participating in analytical and experimental campaigns; preparing annual reports on the conducted research for the employer and international institutions participating in the research.

A candidate for the position of a research and technical worker should present the following documents:

3. Detailed curriculum vitae, including information about internships and academic and professional achievements.
4. Graduation diploma of obtaining the title of PhD
5. Materials confirming the knowledge and professional experience useful for the implementation of the works specified in the job offer.
6. A declaration of consent to the processing of personal data for recruitment purposes.
The candidate's qualifications are assessed by the head of the organizational unit in which the candidate will be employed, together with the IPPLM Deputy Director for Scientific Affairs based on the provided documents and materials. Additionally, the candidate may be invited to an interview.

The Competition Commission may request the candidate to submit additional materials regarding his/her qualifications and scientific achievements such as:
1. opinion/opinions of employees with an academic title or a post-doctoral degree,
2. a copy of the doctoral dissertation, opinion,
3. reviews of the doctoral dissertation,
4.certified results obtained during doctoral studies (applies to the position of an assistant),
5. documentation confirming participation in scientific cooperation with significant centers,
6. other materials.
The candidate may submit other additional materials confirming his/her qualifications, scientific achievements and information about his/her interests not related to the research specified in the competition announcement.
