Position Summary Information

Objective

The Reports and Course Entry Specialist is responsible for assisting in collecting, analyzing, and reporting required Texas CBM reports and National Student Clearinghouse enrollment/degree submissions. In conjunction, this individual will work closely with the IRE office, Technical Education Division, course creation for academics, Continuing Education Division, Vice Chancellors, and Divisional Leadership.

Associate's degree or 5 years working experience in higher education.

Assist Reports Coordinator in generating, correcting, submitting, and justifying all Texas Coordinating Board state reports and errors.

Principal Accountabilities

Help to develop and monitor state reporting procedures and develop state reporting validation procedures.

Assist with Admissions and Records processing, as needed.

Principal Accountabilities

Responsible for entering all new courses (including changes and deletions) into the Student Information System that are approved by Curriculum Committee and course entry procedures and processes.

Principal Accountabilities

Assist Reports Coordinator in generating, correcting, and submitting all National Student Clearinghouse reports including NSLDS errors.

Principal Accountabilities

Assist Reports Coordinator in overseeing course entry for Health Sciences, Technical and Community Education and Continuing Education (Workforce). Assists with Academic course entry.

Principal Accountabilities

Assist Reports Coordinator in coordinating and facilitating New Student Registration on the Brenham Campus.

Principal Accountabilities

Assist with multiple communication platforms including telephone, internal and external chat, and texting mechanisms.
