Incumbents in this position participate in activities relating to government
and regulatory requirements and compliance. Coordinate the accumulation of
regulatory compliance and technical information for submission to various
local and state governmental regulatory agencies and interprets and clarifies
federal, state or local laws or regulations. Establishes and maintains
policies and procedures to ensure compliance with government regulations.

Learns the federal, state and institutional regulations, policies and
guidelines pertaining to human subjects research and applies them
Assists with and facilitates educational activities of the Clinical
Research Institute (CRI)
Facilitate IRB application and submission via iRIS system for any CRI
office on TTUHSC campuses
Facilitate ongoing and timely communication with the IRB via the iRIS
system for any CRI related project on any campus
Assist CRI Research Coordinators/Associates with maintaining regulatory
documents on all studies as requested by supervisor
Actively market the Clinical Research Institute
Assist with development of research protocols
Facilitate daily operations of the Clinical Research Institute
