About Advancement The Advancement Office aims to facilitate the establishment and maintenance of mutually beneficial relationships between the University and its alumni, friends, and benefactors. It is responsible for the management of programs relating to alumni and benefactors and provides services to and works collaboratively with faculties and other central administration areas.
About the Role Reporting to the Head of Leadership Giving and Engagement, the Regular Giving Manager is responsible for the development and delivery of agreed Regular Giving programs with the primary focus of donor retention and building donor pipeline. The Leadership Giving and Engagement team is unique to The University of Melbourne and the successful candidate will have the chance to be part of a team that is the first of it's kind and leading the way for Australian Universities.
The incumbent will be responsible for the development and delivery of two annual University-wide appeals, utilising integrated direct marketing strategies, to grow support for identified fundraising priorities. The role will have one direct report, the Regular Giving Associate, who will assist in the delivery of all agreed University-wide Regular Giving programs.

About You You should have an exemplary ability to build and sustain highly effective working relationship with people from a wide range of professional and cultural backgrounds, including senior and executive management, staff and colleagues, donors and external clients. The successful candidate will also have excellent organisational skills, including the ability to plan and prioritise work to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Proven experience of facilitating collaboration across an organisation to implement organisation-wide mass communications for fundraising is also important.
