    Work Performed

    Plan and provide profe ssional nursing care for patients inaccordancewith physician orders and established policies and procedures to includecollecting and analyzing patient data, developing and implementingnursing care plans, establishin ginterpersonal relationships withpatients, evaluating nursing care given andcommunicating to properpersonnel relevant facts about patients, actio ntaken and patientresponses.Assist other nursing personnel in the delive ry of nursing care and actas team leader or charge nurse for a group ofp atients or an entire unitas assigned.Provide direction and guidance inth e proper use, care and control ofmaterial resources; appraise qualityand effectiveness of material andequipment and report results to head nurse ; maintain standards ofcleanliness in assigned areas.     Minimum Qualifications Education

    Work requires graduation from an accredited BSN program. Exception: Registered nurses hired between July 1, 2014 and March 31, 2021 without a Bachelor's degree in Nursing (or higher) are expected to enroll in an appropriate BSN program within two years of their start date but must complete the program within five years of their start date. Registered nurses hired before July 1, 2014 are not required to enroll in a BSN program to remain in this job classification.


    Twelve months of appropriate clinical experience is required. At a manager's discretion, employees with 6 months of experience who are exceptional performers may be eligible for this level.

    Degrees, Licensures, Certifications

    Must have current or compact RN licensure in the state of North Carolina. BLS required.
