Offer DescriptionThe research project focuses on the field of thermodynamic cycles and refrigerant mixtures for high temperature lift heat pumps for both civil and industrial applications. The research includes the study of cycle configurations suitable to operate efficiently at high temperature required by the user and at low temperature of the cold source. Given the impact of the refrigerant choice on the performance of the heat pump, the study of the thermodynamic cycle will be integrated with evaluation on the fluids, both theoretical and based on measures of the properties of pure substances and mixtures.
