Offer Description

BASIC TASKS:

Designing, carrying out and reporting scientific research in the field of management and quality sciences, especially in the field of issues related to the specificity of the tasks of the University of Justice.

Assistance in designing, implementing and reporting scientific research within various scientific disciplines included in the field of social sciences, especially thematically related to the specificity of AWS tasks.

Designing, executing and reporting on various development works, especially those related to the specifics of UJ tasks.

Drafting impact programs addressed to non-profit organizations and business representatives.

Undertaking scientific activities aimed at building the scientific achievements of UJ, including:

publishing in renowned journals and publishing houses;

popularization of knowledge through publication in popular science magazines, publishers and the media;

active representation of UJ at scientific conferences;

building research teams and other task forces and leading such teams in the implementation of UJ tasks;

supporting the development of young UJ scientists;

proposing solutions to problems for business organizations.

Preparing and conducting classes for students and postgraduate students.

Preparation of course lessons and materials for students.

Skills/Qualifications

BASIC REQUIREMENTS :

postdoctoral degree in social sciences in the field of management and quality sciences, or economics and finance,

having full legal capacity and exercising full public rights,

no criminal record for an intentional offence,

fluent in spoken and written Polish.

Specific Requirements

PREFERRED CANDIDATES:

with significant, documented scientific achievements;

authors of scientific publications (including single-author monographs);

have the ability to design, implement and report scientific research in the field of social sciences - have documented research achievements (scientific and research projects), who are managers of scientific and research projects;

have experience in didactic work, popularization of knowledge and implementation of solutions in social practice;

undertaking other activities in areas related to the functioning of non- profit and for-profit organizations;

have a command of English at a level that allows them to use English- language scientific literature in the field of social sciences and humanities,

guaranteeing timely performance of research work undertaken at UJ,

expressing readiness to carry out didactic activities in the field (including in Kalisz, Warsaw and its surroundings)

Selection process

TENDERS SHOULD INCLUDE:

application addressed to the Rector-Commandant;

personal questionnaire of the person applying for employment with a statement on reading

the information clause – Annexes No. 1 and 2

curriculum vitae

copies of documents confirming qualifications;

list of scientific achievements and didactic achievements;

copies of employment certificates and references;

declaration of no criminal record – Annex No. 3

statement of primary or additional workplace – Annex 4.

Date and place of submission of documents:

The person concerned should submit the required documents to the headquarters of the University of Justice, secretariat: 00-155 Warszawa, ul. Karmelicka 9, between 900 and 1500 or by post by 4 December 2023 (the date of receipt of documents to UJ counts).

Documents submitted at the Academy's headquarters should be in a closed envelope with the note "Job offer – professor at the Institute of Management and Quality Sciences" or via e-mail to the following address: [email protected].

Only complete applications will be considered (documents submitted after the deadline will not be considered ).

Please be advised that we will contact only selected candidates. Failure to inform the candidate about the results of the competition will be tantamount to rejection of his offer. We do not return submitted documents.

The selected candidates will be informed about the date of the interview by phone.

The competition will be settled within five weeks of the deadline for submission of tenders.

The university does not provide housing.

The outcome of the competition does not result in the establishment of an employment relationship.

The decision on employment is made by the Rector-Commandant.

AJ reserves the right to close the competition without a decision or to offer employment of less than 1 full-time job.
