Offer Description

BASIC TASKS:

Assisting in the design, implementation and reporting of scientific research in the field of management and quality sciences, especially in the field of issues related to the specificity of the tasks of the University of Justice (applies to the position of research and scientific assistant).

Assistance in designing, implementing and reporting scientific research within various scientific disciplines included in the field of social sciences, especially thematically related to the specificity of UJ tasks (applies to the position of research and scientific assistant).

Undertaking scientific activities aimed at building the scientific achievements of UJ (applies to the position of research and scientific assistant), including:

publishing in renowned journals and publishing houses;

popularization of knowledge through publication in popular science magazines, publishers and the media;

participation in research projects;

active representation of UJ at scientific conferences;

proposing solutions to problems for business organizations.

4. Conducting classes for full-time and part-time students and postgraduate students (applies to the position of research and teaching assistant).

5. Preparation of course cards and materials for students/listeners (applies to the position of research and teaching assistant).

6. Assistance in work related to the current activities of the Institute (applies to the position of research and teaching assistant).

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

master's degree in social sciences or a related field,

professional experience in the field of management and/or marketing,

having full legal capacity and exercising full public rights,

no criminal record for an intentional offence,

fluent in spoken and written Polish.

Specific Requirements

PREFERED CANDIDATE:

have documented scientific achievements (applies to the position of research and scientific assistant);

who are authors of scientific publications (applies to the position of research and scientific assistant);

have the ability to carry out and report scientific research in the field of social sciences - (applies to the position of a research and scientific assistant);

have experience in teaching;

undertaking other activities in areas related to the functioning of non-profit and for-profit organizations;

have a command of English at a level that allows them to use English-language scientific literature in the field of social sciences and humanities,

guaranteeing timely performance of tasks undertaken in UJ,

expressing readiness to carry out didactic activities in the field (including in Kalisz, Warsaw and its surroundings)

Selection process

TENDERS SHOULD INCLUDE:

application addressed to the Rector-Commandant;

personal questionnaire of the person applying for employment with a statement on reading

the information clause – Annexes No. 1 and 2

curriculum vitae

list of scientific achievements and didactic achievements;

copies of employment certificates and references;

statement of primary or additional workplace – Annex 4.

Date and place of submission of documents:

The person concerned should submit the required documents to the headquarters of the Academy of Justice, secretariat: 00-155 Warszawa, ul. Karmelicka 9, between 900 and 1500 or by post by 4 December 2023 (the date of receipt of documents to UJ counts).

Documents submitted at the Academy's headquarters should be in a closed envelope with the note "Job offer – assistant at the Institute of Management and Quality Sciences or via e-mail: [email protected].

Only complete applications will be considered (documents submitted after the deadline will not be considered ).

Please be advised that we will contact only selected candidates. Failure to inform the candidate about the results of the competition will be tantamount to rejection of his offer. We do not return submitted documents.

The selected candidates will be informed about the date of the interview by phone.

The competition will be settled within five weeks of the deadline for submission of tenders.

The university does not provide housing.

The outcome of the competition does not result in the establishment of an employment relationship.

The decision on employment is made by the Rector-Commandant.

UJ reserves the right to close the competition without a decision or to offer employment of less than 1 full-time job.
