We're looking to appoint an ambitious and motivated Recruitment Manager to lead the University's dedicated in-house recruitment team, responsible for attracting and appointing talented colleagues across all areas of the organisation.

Supported by a team of three Recruitment Advisors and one Administrator, the Recruitment Manager oversees end-to-end recruitment activity across a range of academic and professional service areas, offering advice and guidance to senior leaders and managers whilst developing recruitment practices that are innovative, effective, and that enable the appointment of high-quality candidates. Working alongside colleagues in Organisational Development, the Recruitment manager will champion equality, diversity and inclusivity, and ensure these values are embedded in all recruitment and selection activity.

The Recruitment Manager will offer coaching and guidance to the Recruitment Advisors and Administrator in the team; supporting their professional development as well as managing pastoral issues as line manager. The Recruitment Manager will drive continuous improvement and development of the recruitment service, developing the University's approach to effective candidate attraction, candidate experience, and regulatory compliance; specifically in relation to DBS and UKVI.

To be successful in this role, candidates will need to be CIPD qualified and to demonstrate experience of working in a recruitment or HR role.
