Job overview
University Hospital Southampton Trust provides a proactive recruitment service to our Managers including modern talent acquisition strategies, technology and proactive sourcing and candidate search. Our vacancies and talent pools are broad and diverse, spanning from early careers and apprenticeships to senior nurses and clinical scientist.
You will lead Senior Recruiters, Co-ordinators and administrators who work across 250 job roles and recruit over 3000 people a year to deliver both a proactive sourcing service and an efficient recruitment administration service. Your role will be to ensure the systems and processes are in place to support these different approaches which can range from managing call stats and email response times to clever thinking about the attraction and pipelining of talent.
You will collaborate with hiring managers across professions at all levels and work alongside our attraction and HR Operations teams. You will need to be a confident communicator who is capable of engaging others to work with you. This will include monitoring and managing KPIs, assessing and implementing training, reviewing and building processes and coaching others to inspire and lead their teams. This level of operational management and the service your team provides has a direct affect on the patients we serve. If we fail to recruit the right talent within the right timescale it's experienced by our patients and when we get it right, it's noticed by our colleagues.
