Are you a highly motivated individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy providing excellent customer service? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our Research and Enterprise Department as a Receptionist with additional administrative duties.

This is a varied role that will provide administration support for the Business Incubation team, and sometimes the wider department, in the mornings and reception cover in the afternoons and will be predominantly based at our Think Tank Innovation Centre but, on occasion, may also be required to support the reception at our Sparkhouse Incubation Centre.

The role will require you to provide a high-quality, friendly, organised, and professional front of house service, fulfilling all types of reception duties, and you will be the initial contact for all internal and external stakeholders and visitors to the building. You will have a proactive and flexible approach to the delivery of the reception provision and be able to use your judgement and initiative to make appropriate decisions. Your ability to provide excellent customer service will enable you to thrive in this dynamic and fast- paced environment and ensuring a positive customer experience will be key.

As one of the largest employers in the city, the University of Lincoln offers exciting career opportunities with the chance to grow and develop to reach your full potential. We also offer a wide range of staff benefits, including a generous annual leave allowance of 30 days per year pro rata (plus an additional 14 bank holiday and concessionary days), progressive pay rates, access to discount at popular stores and more.

For an informal conversation about the role, please contact Sarah Simpson, Enterprise Coordinator, at [email protected].
