Receptionist (at the rank of Clerical Assistant) in the Faculty of Architecture (Ref.: 520441) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two- year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a Diploma or above, with 5 passes in HKCEE including English (min. grade C if Syllabus A/Level 2 from 2007), Chinese (Level 2 from 2007) and Mathematics; OR min. Level 2 or equivalent in 5 subjects in HKDSEE including English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics; and at least 1 year's full-time work experience. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua), good organisational skills, good telephone manner and proficiency in PC and software applications including MS Excel and Word processing, and be able to work independently and under pressure. They should also be self-motivated, presentable, outgoing, and be able to interact well with people from diverse cultures. Fresh graduates with good academic background will also be considered.
The appointee will provide counter services, answer enquiries, support facility management, provide general clerical support, assist in Faculty's events and perform any other duties as assigned. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
