Position Title: Real Estate Instructor (adjunct) Classification Title Part Time Faculty Min Salary $28.12 Max Salary $33.96 Salary Type hourly FLSA E = Exempt Position Type: Faculty Position Summary:

The Real Estate Instructor is a part-time Continuing Education faculty member responsible for delivering instruction of the Real Estate Pre-Licensing, Post Licensing, and Continuing Education curriculum. The instructor will teach real estate classes in Rowan and Cabarrus counties via in-person and/or synchronous delivery methods.

The instructor is responsible for maintaining instructional quality and effectiveness through constant and timely revision of course elements and syllabus to meet North Carolina Real Estate Commission requirements. They are expected to stay current in the subject matter through ongoing professional development. The instructor will plan and organize instruction in ways that maximize student learning and employ appropriate teaching and learning strategies to communicate subject matter to students, including strategies to meet diverse student needs. The instructor is also responsible for other duties as assigned by the Program Manager.

1. Successfully prepare, manage, and deliver course content in order to achieve course objectives, accommodate diverse learning styles, and meet student learning outcomes.

3. Communicate and follow course syllabus content in accordance with directions provided and administrative guidance.

5. Utilize College technology for the delivery of instruction and completion of operational processes; this includes but is not limited to the College's learning management system, email and calendaring solution, document management system(s), student information system, and employee portals.

6. Meet deadlines, including maintaining and submitting accurate class records, employee records/requests, and other assigned tasks.
