The position requires at least: (1) Bachelor's degree. (2) 2 years' clinical experience in the professional discipline (3) Holds current ARRT certification and registration and unrestricted FL license in radiation therapy

This is a part-time adjunct faculty position.

Preferred Qualifications

(1) One year experience as an instructor in a JRCERT-accredited program (2) Proficient in curriculum development, supervision, instruction, evaluation, and academic advising

Supplemental Job Information

Responsibilities: (1) Travel to clinical sites to evaluate students in their clinical settings

(2) Share responsibility in correlating and coordinating clinical education with didactic education and evaluating its effectiveness

(3) Participate in the onboarding of students for clinical rotations

(4) Assist in creating clinical rotation schedules

(5) Participate in clinical and/or didactic instruction

(6) Monitor Students' progress in completing ARRT mandated competencies

(7) Support the program director to assure effective program operations

(8) Participate in the accreditation and assessment process

(9) Maintain current knowledge of the professional discipline and educational methodologies through continuing professional development

(10) Maintain current knowledge of program policies, procedures and student progress

(11) Commitment of 2-3 days per week, per semester, either in the clinical setting or on college campus

Additional Documents Required

Applicants must attach: (1) Transcript, showing at least the minimum qualifications, (2) A copy of their American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiation Therapy, (3) A copy of their current State of Florida license and (4) A resume at the time of application.

If selected for an interview, applicants must bring an original transcript to the interview showing the awarding of the required degree. If the transcript has not been updated to show the awarding of the required degree, applicants must bring written documentation from the educational institution showing when the degree was awarded.

Campus Dale Mabry Location 10 - Dale Mabry Campus Pay Rate

Part-time credit-course instructional faculty at HCC will be compensated at the rate of $75.00 per instructional point, based on the number of assigned load points.

Each contact or lecture hour generates 10 points.

Each laboratory contact hour generates 8 points.
