The Department of Information Systems and Supply Chain Management in the Quinlan School of Business at Loyola University Chicago invites applicants to apply for a full-time faculty appointment in Supply Chain Management beginning in Fall 2023. This position has an initial one-year appointment and renewal is based on teaching needs. Previous teaching experience related to supply chain management is required. Evidence of professional leadership and recognition, such as participation and leadership in industry associations, or presentations of research or significant achievements in the field of supply chain management or closely related fields, is highly desired.
The successful candidate will primarily focus on teaching the core, introductory supply chain management course, ensure consistency across multiple sections, and work under the mentorship of experienced faculty who oversee the curriculum for this vital course. This course is required of all Quinlan students, and it is the best opportunity to introduce those students to the world of supply chain management. Additional course assignments in statistics or business analytics may be available depending on candidate experience. The successful candidate will be an energetic, thought-leader in this dynamic, evolving area, working with colleagues to develop and maintain an appropriate curriculum. Expectations include excellence in teaching and ideally professional work experience that has had an impact in the field of supply chain management. Faculty also engage in impactful service roles at Quinlan and share a commitment to our mission of educating responsible leaders to teach them how to effectively manage supply chains and improve the business world. Administrative responsibilities include participation in faculty discussions to develop and maintain an appropriate curriculum for the introductory supply chain management course.

Qualifications
Academic and Professional Qualifications include a minimum of an earned master's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a closely related field; leadership experience in business; and teaching experience. Candidates with professional connections in the Chicago metropolitan area are preferred. A record of recent research activities and a PhD is not required, but is viewed favorably. Qualified candidates must demonstrate teaching effectiveness, a strong understanding of and commitment to the mission of the university.
