Quality Officer Academic Quality and Development

Location: Stoke Campus Salary: £31,502 to £36,333 Per Annum Full Time Fixed Term for 12 Months Release Date: Friday 12 May 2023 Closing Date: Tuesday 06 June 2023 Reference: AQD55-23

The Academic Quality Service (AQS) is responsible for 8 core functional areas, which include:

  • Quality & Standards Enhancement
  • Quality Training, Advice & Guidance
  • Course Design & Validation
  • Monitoring & Reviews
  • External Examiners
  • Apprenticeships Quality Assurance
  • Partnership Quality Assurance
  • University Committee Support
  • As a Quality Officer you will support Quality Managers to deliver the functions of AQS across the university. You will work both in the central AQS team and with Schools and Institutes to ensure that AQS delivers a high- quality service to the academic community.

    You will have an excellent working knowledge and understanding of UK quality assurance policies and procedures in higher education. Experienced in producing documentation including minutes of formal meetings, you will have excellent organisation, communication and team working skills. The ability to work independently with a high level of self-motivation and flexibility is also essential.
