Quality Manager Academic Quality and Development

Location: Stoke Campus Salary: £37,386 to £43,155 Per Annum Pro Rata Part Time 18.5 hours Fixed Term for 2 Years Release Date: Friday 12 May 2023 Closing Date: Tuesday 06 June 2023 Reference: AQD53-23

The Academic Quality Service is responsible for 8 core functional areas, which include:

Quality & Standards Enhancement

  • Quality Training, Advice & Guidance
  • Course Design & Validation
  • Monitoring & Reviews
  • External Examiners
  • Apprenticeships Quality Assurance
  • Partnership Quality Assurance
  • University Committee Support
  • As Quality Manager you will be responsible for owning the delivery and day-to- day management of one/a group of these functions, under the direction of the Head of Academic Quality, and in line with the Academic Quality Service's Departmental Plan.

    You will have an extensive understanding of the operation and administration of Quality Assurance within the UK HE Sector and its application in HE providers. Experienced in delivering projects, change and business improvement initiatives, you will have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate complex information to a range of audiences.
