The Connect Programme is an exciting University wide digital transformation portfolio to ensure readiness for a new Student Management System (SMS). The Quality Assurance Manager will sit in the Programme delivery team and will lead the actions and processes to maintain standards and produce quality deliverables without errors or defects, which ensure customer satisfaction, as well as leading on Lesson Learning exercises for continuous improvement. They will train the team in quality standards and develop appropriate KPIs and processes. They will lead on technical quality assurance for any new software solutions through the design, development and delivery of test scripts and associated materials, with rigorous monitoring of test runs, tracking outcomes and collating metrics. They will develop the testing strategy, build test plans, cases etc. and assist the execution of tests. The test phases are expected to include Integrated Systems Testing (IST), User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Penetration Testing.

Job Purpose:
The Connect Programme is seeking candidates to take on an exciting and challenging role critical to the successful delivery of this University wide programme of digital transformation to ensure readiness for the replacement of the Student Management System. The Quality Assurance Manager will sit in the Programme delivery team and will lead the actions and processes to maintain standards and produce quality deliverables, supporting the Project Managers with the necessary processes to achieve quality deliverables, and understand the requirements to produce quality deliverables without errors or defects, which ensure customer satisfaction and help to make continuous improvements.
