Offer DescriptionPUBLIC COMPETITION
• For the selection of one executor (m/f) in the associate title and associate position – senior assistant, in the scientific field: biotechnical sciences; scientific field: biotechnology; in the Institute for Food and Technological Engineering in the Laboratory for Technology and Analysis of Wine, on a fixed-term basis with full-time work
Mandatory conditions:
- All candidates of the Competition must meet the general conditions prescribed by the Labor Act ("Narodne novine" no. 93/14, 127/17, 98/19, 151/22 and 64/23) and the provisions of the Act on Higher Education and scientific activity ("Narodne novine" No. 119/2022), Article 91 of the Statute of the University of Zagreb and Article 58 of the Statute of the University of Zagreb Faculty of Food and Biotechnology.
Preferred criteria:
- many years of work experience in teaching at higher education institutions,
- work experience in the field of wine chemistry and technology,
- knowledge of analytical methods for determining the composition and quality of wine,
- active knowledge of the English language in speech and writing,
- computer knowledge.
Along with the application for the competition, it is necessary to attach the following in addition to the above in the text:
1. CV;
2. application (indication of the position to which he applies);
3. confirmation of the Croatian Pension Insurance Institute (HZMO) about the data recorded in the HZMO database, i.e. Electronic records; not older than the date of publication of this Competition
4. proof of appropriate professional training from which it can be determined that the candidate meets the conditions for selection to the appropriate position;
5. proof of the specified desirable and mandatory criteria and experiences;
6. decision on the recognition of foreign educational qualification for those candidates who obtained the qualification abroad;
7. proof of knowledge of the Croatian language level C2 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages - foreign nationals;
Registered candidates (m/f) who are shortlisted may be invited for an interview and/or testing.
Candidates who invoke the right of priority in employment in accordance with:
– Article 102 of the Law on Croatian Veterans of the Homeland War and Members of Their Families (Official Gazette No. 121/17, 98/19, 84/21);
- Article 9 of the Act on Professional Rehabilitation and Employment of Persons with Disabilities (Official Gazette No. 157/13, 152/14 and 39/18), they are obliged to refer to this right in their application for the competition and have priority over other candidates only under equal conditions.
A candidate who is invited in the tender application for the right of priority in employment in accordance with Article 102 of the Act on Croatian Veterans of the Homeland War and their family members, along with the application for the public tender, is obliged to submit, in addition to proof of fulfillment of the required conditions, the evidence prescribed by the article 103, paragraph 1 of the Act on Croatian Veterans of the Homeland War and their family members, which are published on the website of the Ministry of Croatian Veterans: .https: // branitelji.gov.hr/zaposljavanje-843/843.
A candidate who, in his application, refers to the right of priority in employment in accordance with Article 48.f of the Act on the Protection of Military and Civilian War Invalids, must, in addition to proof of fulfillment of the required conditions, attach a decision or certificate from which the above is clearly stated right and proof of how his employment ended.
A candidate who, in his application, refers to the right of priority in employment in accordance with Article 9 of the Act on Professional Rehabilitation and Employment of Persons with Disabilities must, in addition to proof of fulfillment of the required conditions, also submit proof of disability.
Pursuant to Art. 13. paragraph 1. (Official Gazette No. 82/08, 69/17) of the Law on Gender Equality, persons of both sexes can apply for the competition.
Applications for the competition with the requested documentation should be sent to the address: University of Zagreb Faculty of Food and Biotechnology: Pierottijeva 6, 10000 Zagreb, with an indication of the competition for which you are applying.
The tender is open for 30 days from the date of publication in the "Narodne novine".
A complete application is considered an application that contains all the information and attachments listed in this competition.
Only a person who submits a timely and complete application with all attachments and meets the formal conditions of the competition will be considered a candidate registered for the competition.
Incomplete and untimely applications will not be considered, nor will applicants of incomplete applications be asked to supplement their application. Persons who submit incomplete or untimely applications for the competition and persons who do not meet the formal requirements of the competition are not considered candidates registered for the competition.
The University of Zagreb Faculty of Food and Biotechnology reserves the right, partially or fully, to cancel this competition at any time.
By applying to the competition, the candidate gives his consent for all his personal data contained in the competition documentation to be collected and processed for the purpose of implementing the competition in accordance with the regulations governing the protection of personal data, in particular Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 27 2016 on the protection of individuals in connection with the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and on the repeal of Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation).
