Offer Description

1. The dean of the Polytechnic "Nikola Tesla" in Gospić is elected for a mandate period of three years.

2. A person from the ranks of senior lecturers, professors of professional studies, professors of professional studies in permanent selection or teachers elected to a scientific-teaching position may be elected dean.

3. The elected dean concludes a fixed-term employment contract with the Polytechnic "Nikola Tesla" in Gospić for the full-time position of dean.

4. Candidates for the public tender must attach the following to their application:

curriculum vitae (original)

work program for the three-year mandate period (original)

the decision on selection for the appropriate teaching or scientific- teaching position

description of scientific, teaching and professional work

confirmation that no criminal proceedings are being conducted against the person (not older than six months)

written consent for the publication of the curriculum vitae and work program for the three-year mandate period on the website of the Polytechnic "Nikola Tesla" in Gospić (original).

Specific Requirements

5. The public tender will be published in the official newspaper of the Republic of Croatia Narodne novine, the bulletin board of the Polytechnic "Nikola Tesla" in Gospić and the website of the Polytechnic "Nikola Tesla" in Gospić, and on the official job portal of the European Research Area.

6. The deadline for submitting applications is 30 days from the publication of the public tender in the Official Gazette. The first day following the publication of the public tender in the Official Gazette is taken as the starting day of the deadline.

7. Applications, together with the necessary documentation, must be submitted by registered mail in a sealed envelope to the address: Polytechnic "Nikola Tesla" in Gospić, Bana Ivana Karlovića 16, 53 000 Gospić with the indication: "Public tender for the selection of a dean - DO NOT OPEN" or in person to the office Polytechnic "Nikola Tesla" in Gospić at the same address.

8. Participants of the public tender will be notified of the election results within 45 days of the deadline for submission of applications.

9. Pursuant to Article 13, Paragraph 1 of the Law on Gender Equality (Official Gazette No. 82/08, 69/17), persons of both sexes may apply for the competition.

10. Incomplete and untimely applications will not be considered.

By submitting an application to the public tender, candidates of the public tender expressly agree that the Polytechnic "Nikola Tesla" in Gospić, as the manager of the collection of personal data, can collect, use and further process data for the purpose of implementing the tender procedure in accordance with the regulations governing the protection of personal data.

Candidates who, in their application to the public tender, will refer to the right of priority in employment have priority over other candidates only under equal conditions. In order to exercise the right of preference in employment, a candidate who fulfills the conditions for exercise of that right is obliged to attach all the prescribed documentation according to the special law that regulates that right, along with the application for the public tender.

A candidate who applies for a public tender calls for priority in employment in accordance with Article 48 point f of the Act on the Protection of Military and Civil War Invalids (Official Gazette No. 33/92, 57/92, 77/92, 27/93, 58/93 , 02/94, 76/94, 108/95, 108/96, 82/01, 103/03, 148/13, 98/19). a decision, i.e. a certificate from which the stated right can be seen, a certificate of unemployment issued by the Croatian Employment Service during the duration of this competition, and evidence from which it is visible how his employment with the last employer ended (decision, contract, agreement, etc.) .

A candidate who, in his application for a public tender, calls for priority in employment in accordance with Article 9 of the Act on Professional Rehabilitation and Employment of Persons with Disabilities (Official Gazette No. 157/13, 152/14, 39/18, 32/20) must attach, in addition to proof of fulfillment of the required conditions, an appropriate public document on disability on the basis of which the person can be registered in the register of employed persons with disabilities, and proof showing how his employment with the last employer ended (decision, contract, agreement, etc.).

A candidate who, in his application for a public tender, calls for priority in employment in accordance with Article 48 of the Act on Civilian Victims of the Homeland War (Official Gazette No. 84/21) is obliged to submit, in addition to proof of fulfillment of the required conditions, appropriate proof of fulfillment of the conditions for exercising rights employment advantages, which are published on the website of the Ministry of Croatian Veterans:

Documents that are attached to the public tender, which are not expressly required to be in the original or a certified copy, are attached in a copy, and the candidate who is selected is obliged to attach all of the above to the Polytechnic "Nikola Tesla" in Gospić when concluding the Agreement on the performance of the dean's duties documents in the original or in a certified copy.
