Minimum Education/Training/Experience
Position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and general clerical or office support experience including: reconciling, organizing, scanning files; data entry; assisting with events and projects.
Preferred Education/Training/Experience
In addition to a high school diploma or equivalent, one (1) year of general clerical or office support experience is preferred or a combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.
Minimum Knowledge & Skills
- Business math; - Basic office practices and procedures; - Basic record keeping practices; - Basic computer applications related to the work - Operating standard office equipment; - Reviewing documents for completeness and accuracy; - Communication and interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with coworkers, supervisor, students, the public, etc. sufficient to exchange or convey information and to receive work direction.
Preferred Knowledge & Skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products; - Ability to track and manage filing system; - Strong organizational skills.

Job Duties
• Assisting students with registration, and answering registration questions; • Taking day to day calls and also being thoroughly aware of the program in order to give information and encourage new students to join; • Maintaining a front desk presence and greeting all guests as they arrive in the building; • Assisting Administrative Assistant II with first, third and final day packets; • Assisting travel coordinator and Administrative Assistant IV and II; • Reporting facility issues when they occur; • Making copies for instructors and students; • Helping Director with any special events that may occur, i.e., art show, receptions, meetings, etc.; • Making reminder calls for upcoming travel and lectures; • Assisting instructors with daily tasks needed for the operation of their course; • Keeping the overall order of the kitchen and student lounge; • Serving as liaison between students, staff, and faculty; • Performing office support activities; • Performing miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements
Positions in this class typically require: stooping, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, talking, hearing, seeing, and repetitive motions.
