Job Title PT DUAL CREDIT CLASS FACILITATOR - WRTTC (Pool)
Position Status Part Time
Classification Title Part-Time-Up to 19 hpw
Work Location WRTTC-1309 W. I-10, Fort Stockton, TX
Facilitate Dual Credit classrooms and coordinate with MC Instructor of Record.
Maintain ISD records for attendance and submit ISD grades on regular basis.
Provide for positive learning environment for dual credit students by
affirming college course rigor and expectations on regular basis.
High School Diploma or equivalent
Employable by Midland College and dual credit partner ISD
Experience in Supervision of Adolescents
Ability and Willingness to Communicate with Students and Parents
Educational Environment Experience
Communicate with MC Instructor on dual credit students' progress
Promote positive learning environment and affirm college course rigor and
expectations on regular basis
Maintains dual credit partner ISD records of student attendance, grades and
follows ISD policy for classroom management
Review upcoming assignments with students, and monitor student progress based
on assignment calendar
Be familiar with Canvas, Turnitin, My MC Portal, MC Email, and navigation of
each to be able to assist and support students becoming self-efficient in
Review upcoming assignments, with the students, and monitor student progress
based on assignment calendar
Receive and respond to all Parent/Guardian contact concerning student course
work and relay all information to MC Instructor, Campus Principal and WRTTC
Must be able to move and lift 30 lbs.
Must be able to sit or stand for along periods of time
Use of manual dexterity
All Midland College positions are security-sensitive and subject to Texas
Education Code §51.215, which authorizes the employer to obtain criminal
history record information. An employment offer is contingent on completion of
a satisfactory criminal background investigation.
Min Salary $417 per credit hour
Max Salary $417 per credit hour
