Job Title Psychologist/Social Worker/Counselor (Part-time, Temporary)
The University of Notre Dame is hiring part-time licensed counselors to join
the staff of the University Counseling Center (UCC) to provide individual
and/or group counseling services to our students for the 2021-22 academic
Therapists must be licensed in the state of Indiana. We specifically have a
need for therapists available to provide six or more hours per week of in-
person individual counseling between the hours of 9:00am – 5:00pm Monday,
Wednesday, or Friday AND therapists who would be interested in facilitating an
in-person process group for students on Monday, Wednesday, or Thursday
evenings between 5:00-7:00pm.
Clinical services provided as a UCC part-time counselor are covered under the
University's malpractice insurance. The UCC provides training in relevant UCC
policies and procedures and expects that all services provided will be in
accordance with the standards of care and ethical code of the American
Psychological Association and Indiana state law. Finally, staff at the UCC
provide consultation as needed and back-up for any crisis situations that may

• Doctoral degree in Counseling or Clinical Psychology and licensure as a
psychologist and Health Service Provider in Psychology.
Master's degree in Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy, or Social Work
from an accredited program and clinical licensure in the State of Indiana.
• Experience providing individual or group counseling to individuals with a
broad range of clinical concerns and diagnoses.
• Demonstrated sensitivity to multicultural issues and proficiency in
addressing aspects of students' intersecting identities within the context of
