  • Responsibilities

    In this role, you will be an on-site and off-site coordinator of a large multi-site project working with UCLA patients, clinic staff and physicians to support research projects in clinical settings. You will report to the director of ECRI and support research implementation and projects. Your duties will include; describing research studies to interested participants and answering questions about the nature and involvement of the study, obtaining informed consent from study participants or their respective family members, collect survey's for the study, collect file date from patient experiences as well as technical workflow of any device and technology installation that may relate to the projects.

    You may be required to input study data into a database as well as make phone calls to patients to collect additional study information if needed. You will be required to travel offsite using your own vehicle for project needs and will help train and coordinate schedules for ERCI work study students.

    Salary Range: $24.81-$52.11 Hourly

  • JOB QUALIFICATIONS
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or experience in social service related field.
  • Prior research experience or experience with patients in a clinical setting
  • Experience in working with a patient population in a healthcare setting is desirable.
  • Demonstrate interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively and diplomatically with diverse group of physicians and patient population.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel
  • Must be able to get to the Rehabilitation Centers, off site
