Salary: UH6 £29,619 to £32,348 pa with potential to progress to £35,333 dependent on achieving

Main duties and responsibilities
This is an exciting opportunity to manage all logistics associated with the preparation for, and delivery of, the international Women in Sport High Performance pathway (WISH). This pathway will develop the leadership competencies of elite women coaches from all over the world representing a range of sports and is being delivered via residential (at the University of Hertfordshire) and online sessions from 2022-2025. The post also offers additional opportunities to support the development and delivery of other activities related to women and sport at the University of Hertfordshire, which is the research lead institution for the UK's hosting of the Secretariat of the International Working Group (IWG) on Women and Sport from 2022-2026.
Skill and experience required
The successful candidate will have the ability to organise complex events which are both residential and online involving multiple stakeholders within data protection, ethical and risk guidelines. In so doing, you will be able to show initiative, working independently and flexibly within a team sometimes under pressure and with tight deadlines.
In addition, you will have proven experience of working with international sport organisations and employees and an understanding of issues related to women and sport leadership.
Furthermore, you will be able to handle budgets, manage websites and social media, and deliver written reports. The ability to work flexibly, independently and show initiative are essential to this role.
You will hold a good honour's degree or equivalent level qualification in a relevant discipline or have proven relevant professional experience. A relevant professional qualification is desirable.
