Project Officer/Project Assistant (at the rank of Clerk I/II) in the Department of Ophthalmology, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 520355) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Social Sciences, Social Work, Counselling, or Healthcare-related disciplines, preferably with experience in organizing community-related knowledge exchange or service projects. They should have a good command of spoken and written English and Chinese; a strong sense of responsibility and positive attitude; effective communication, organizational and interpersonal skills; and the ability to work independently as well as in team. They should also be attentive to details, self-motivated and be able to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently. Those with lower qualifications or less experience may be considered for appointment as Project Assistant (at the rank of Clerk II).

The appointee will assist in delivering general health education project on visual symptoms of eye diseases, including but not limited to liaising with external collaborating organizations, organizing and hosting the educational program, and conducting elementary data analysis. He/She may also assist in drafting proposals and reports for various fundings, and perform other duties as assigned. The appointee will be required to work on irregular working hours occasionally.
