Duties and Responsibilities

Take part in training and evaluation-related administrative tasks in the capacity building team of the Jockey Club End-of-Life Community Care Project (JCECC) under the Faculty of Social Sciences, which include, but not limited to:

  • involve in professional training, public education and volunteer training events in end-of-life care (EoLC)
  • assist in the promotion and participant recruitment, evaluation-related administrative tasks
  • liaise with NGOs and relevant stakeholders
  • perform other duties as assigned
  • Requirements

  • a Bachelor's degree or above
  • a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese/Cantonese
  • good analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • experience with administering e-learning platform and use of various e-learning tools would be essential
  • experience in undertaking professional training, public education programmes or volunteer training programmes are preferred
  • What We Offer

    The appointment will commence as soon as possible on a 2-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.

    A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered. The appointment will also attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme at 10% of basic salary. Other benefits include annual leave, medical benefits and free access to on-campus gyms and libraries.

    Those with higher qualifications and more experience will be appointed as Research Assistant I.
