    The Opportunity

    As a Project Manager with Monash, you will take carriage of some of the most critical, strategic capital construction projects across the University. This is an exciting opportunity to join the award-winning Buildings and Property team and support projects such as new buildings, major refurbishments, infrastructure services and landscape works with significant value.

    In consultation with internal customers and stakeholders, and with the support of a very experienced Project team, you will lead and manage all aspects of these projects from conception to final delivery. This will include:

  • Adopting innovative project management methodologies to deliver projects on-time, on-budget and to the customer brief
  • Sourcing and assigning project resources, including external partners as required
  • Providing expert advice, guidance and support to customers across BPD and the broader University
  • To drive successful outcomes in this position, the suitable candidate will possess a Bachelor Degree in Construction Management or similar industry degree as well as post graduate certifications in Project Management, coupled with a background in construction project management.

    You will have a history of successfully delivering projects in a manner that is considerate to the customer's needs and expectations, whilst remaining innovative and agile to provide best-practice solutions based on your expertise. You also use your exceptional relationship management skills and ability to collaborate with others in a complex environment to deliver positive project outcomes.
