8:00 am – 5:00 pm; Monday – Friday This position is eligible for teleworking up to 2 days per week.
Primary Purpose of Position
The primary responsibility of the Project Manager is to manage the programming, design, and construction administration of University capital projects. Projects will range in value from $500,000 up to, and exceeding $36,000,000. The incumbent will manage projects beginning in the Advanced Planning Phase carrying the project through the pre-construction conference.
Minimum Education/Experience
Required Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in the engineering discipline related to the area of assignment; or equivalent combination of training and experience Some positions may require licensure by the North Carolina Board of Examiners for Engineers and Surveyors. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
University Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in the engineering discipline related to the area of assignment and four years engineering experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience. Some positions may require licensure by the North Carolina Board of Examiners for Engineers and Surveyors.
