The department of business administration is now looking for a project manager for projects in data management and technology around AI. The person will support the Business School's IT Lab (Bitlab) in the work of building an infrastructure for research and teaching around handling large and complex data sets. In particular, the person will work with a project that aims to increase the School of Business and Economics' competence around AI, which includes, among other things, teaching of teachers and students, curriculum development and technical support. Furthermore, the person will be responsible for a specific project with the aim of developing a module for financial portfolio analysis with a focus on the portfolio's dependence and impact on biodiversity within the MistraBiopath project.

Duties
  • Project Management and Teaching - Responsible for project management and teaching for educators in data management and artificial intelligence techniques.
  • Course Development - Lead course development efforts with a focus on technical tools for handling large and complex datasets.
  • Portfolio Analysis - Develop modules for financial portfolio analysis with a focus on portfolio dependencies and their impact on biodiversity.
  • Technical Support - Provide technical support during course activities involving coding and data handling.
  • Qualifications
  • A PhD degree with a quantitative focus related to accounting and/or finance.
  • Relevant experience in applying and teaching artificial intelligence and in data management.
  • Understanding and experience from research utilizing machine learning in a financial decision-making context.
  • Skills in course development and project management.
  • Proficiency in using Python for data science and machine learning is required. Proficiency in other languages well suited for numerical analysis and computational science (e.g., Julia, R, Matlab, etc.) is an advantage. Strong communication and teaching skills.
  • Basic understanding of the intersect between hardware and software integration for artificial intelligence.

    The employment is a permanent position with placement until further notice at the Department of Business Administration, scope 100%. Probationary period may be applied.
