About This Opportunity
The Queensland Digital Health Centre is seeking multiple Project Managers to be responsible for supporting the end-to-end delivery of a variety of digital health projects. This role encompasses delivering outcomes across all aspects of the project life-cycle. This includes project initiation and planning, developing processes to monitor and evaluate the project, managing project deliverables, budgets and communication, facilitating stakeholder engagements, coordinating procurement and contract negotiations, and supporting project reporting requirements.
In addition to the above, key responsibilities will include:
Effectively lead and manage the project team, including planning and prioritising project team activities
Provide project and administrative support, including monitoring and reporting on project plans, milestones and deliverables, to ensure time, cost and quality indicators are aligned with approved project plans
Contribute to the preparation of project briefs to support informed decision making and planning
Support the selection of project management methodologies as relevant to the size, scope, phase and time-frame of the digital health project
Effectively lead and manage the project team, including planning and prioritising project team activities
Working in partnership with the Project Sponsor, support project governance and reporting in accordance with agreed project methodologies and protocols
Coordinate and provide regular updates to the Project Steering Committee, comprising of key stakeholders.
There are multiple full-time, fixed-term positions for up to 12 months.
At HEW level 8, the full-time equivalent base salary will be in the range $105,338.31 to $118,280.70, plus a generous super allowance of up to 17%. The total FTE package will be up to $123,245.82 to $138,388.42 annually.
About You
Demonstrated experience successfully managing medium to large digital health projects, ideally within a large and/or complex organisational context
Demonstrated knowledge of relevant project management tools or equivalent practical methodology for monitoring project progress
Knowledge of and experience in coordinating vendor selection, alignment, and contract negotiations
Demonstrated high level organisational ability, attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines and manage competing priorities
Previous project management experience within a tertiary and/or research institution would be desirable.
