Job Summary This position will assist with creating and maintaining program documentation, coordination of all internal and external training activities, and use of the simulation spaces both off and on campus.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop policies and procedures for use of both on-campus and off-campus simulation spaces.
  • Assist with the development and adaptation of simulations to support high-quality, effective training opportunities.
  • Collaborate with project staff and partners to identify and connect with community members that could benefit from participating in simulation training opportunities.
  • Schedule training and planning meetings between project staff, USM faculty and community stakeholders to meet project goals.
  • Assist with tracking of training and program results, including outcomes and aggregating results to demonstrate collective impact.
  • Provide support in developing and maintaining required project documentation and deadlines.
  • Manage project space and inventory and place orders as necessary
  • Assist with managing expenditures and receipts required for successful grant reporting
  • Receive and respond to incoming communication.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Minimum Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in social work, psychology or related human services field and at least one year experience in project management.

  • Ability to work as a part of a team
  • Experience supervising student interns
  • Ability to interface professionally with a variety of community organizations
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong critical thinking, research, and analytical skills as well as knowledge of evidence-based decision-making.
  • Ability to work with a diverse population in a culturally competent manner.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a dynamic, cross-functional team structure.
  • Ability to work sensitively with individuals in crisis.
  • Proficiency with PC systems and MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to travel across the United States. Some overnights required.
  • Preferred Qualifications

    Degree in social work from a CSWE accredited university. Experience with child welfare Proficiency with social media applications. Proficiency with audio-visual recording equipment.
