  • For several years, Inserm has been strongly committed to the fight against antimicrobial resistance, a major public health problem that costs the lives of 1.3 million people worldwide, every year. Inserm is responsible for the implementation of the priority research program (PPR) on antibiotic resistance (https: // ppr-antibioresistance.Inserm.fr); an ambitious plan with a budget of 40 million euros over 10 years aimed at bringing together all French forces on priority subjects. Internationally, INSERM has also coordinated from 2017 to 2021, the European Joint Action against Antimicrobial Resistance and Healthcare Associated Infections (EU-JAMRAI, https: // eu- jamrai.eu) ; a joint action gathering 22 European countries with the objective of implementing concrete actions in member states to fight antimicrobial resistance.

    Through her role as coordinator of EU-JAMRAI, Marie-Cécile PLOY, and the INSERM 1092 unit she directs, are now leaders in the fight against antibiotic resistance in France and internationally. The Inserm 1092 unit is notably involved in national and international projects, including:

  • the coordination of PROMISE (https: // ppr- antibioresistance.Inserm.fr/fr/projets-actions-soutenus/acti... projets- retenus/#promise) ; a national structuring project, financed within the framework of the PPR, which aims at creating a professional meta-network, to fight antibiotic resistance, gathering 23 networks and more than 44 academic partners in France
  • RaDAR (https: // radar-ppi.com), a European project financed by the European Union's COSME program, which aims at setting up public procurement of innovative solutions to better detect and control antibiotic resistance
  • the preparation of the second European Joint Action on Antibiotic Resistance and Healthcare Associated Infections (EU-JAMRAI 2)
  • The project manager assistant will participate in the various projects in progress at the time of his/her appointment. He/she will support Marie-Cécile Ploy and Yohann Lacotte:

  • On the RaDAR project where he/she will carry out, within the framework of the implementation of public procurement of innovative solutions in France, Italy and Spain, a literature review on innovative diagnostic solutions for human, animal and environmental health (One Health approach)
  • Coordination of PROMISE, the professional meta-network for the fight against antibiotic resistance in France
  • Preparation of the EU-JAMRAI 2 in collaboration with the Ministerial Mission for Infection Control and Antibiotic Resistance (MMPIA)
  • Benefits

    1900-2000€ per month, depending on experiences

    Either:

    Political sciences: Master 1 Degree or equivalent

    Biological sciences: Master 1 Degree or equivalent
