Doane University is seeking a Project Coordinator on the Lincoln, NE campus. This position will be of critical importance of the success of the Tiger Together grant. This position is full time and 100% grant-funded through October 2025, by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration.
The Grant Coordinator will be responsible for identifying, organizing, and implementing suicide and substance use prevention activities on all campuses, including trainings and workshops.The Project Coordinator will develop materials for social marketing campaign to improve awareness on suicide, reduce stigma, and increase help seeking behavior among students. We are looking for an organized and confident communicator who demonstrates the ability to to work effectively with diverse constituencies in implementing project goals and objectives.
Qualifications/Skills/Abilities Required for Position:
Prior experience in suicide and substance abuse prevention, including theory and practice
Sound experience with computer software programs, including Microsoft Word and Excel
Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to effectively lead small and large groups of students and/or staff
Basic knowledge on data collection and analysis
