Description of the workplace
The research group of Clinical Memory Research conducts research in dementia
diseases. Our research has been at the forefront of the research area for
several years. The group is led by Professor Oskar Hansson and consists of

Work duties and areas of responsibility
As a project assistant within our research group you will work with advanced
mathematical and statistical analyzes of multimodal data in the BioFINDER
study. Your duties mainly include developing and validating mathematical and
statistical models of associations between different types of biochemical
markers, disease processes detected and quantified with brain imaging (MRI /
PET) and clinical measures (cognition and function). The aim of these
analyzes is partly to expand our understanding of disease mechanisms in
Alzheimer's disease and other neurodegenerative diseases, and partly to
improve opportunities to make an accurate and early diagnosis and prognosis in
clinical routine and in clinical trials of new drugs. Other tasks may also

The employment is fixed-term, full-time position for 8 months. Starting date
