Position Summary
Operating closely in tandem with the Project Director and/or the Associate
Director, the Training and Technical Assistance Program Manager is responsible
for the following duties and responsibilities.
Minimum Qualifications
Education: Bachelors degree from a regionally accredited college or
university.
Experience: 3-5 years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Education: Advanced degree in Education, Psychology, Human Services,
Public Health, Substance Use or related area.
Addiction Certification (Preferred)
Experience: 3-5 years' experience working in the addiction/ mental
healthfield.
Expertise in dissemination and implementation of evidence-based practices;
promising practices
Data entry experience

Job Duties
Description of Job Duty
Description of Duties and Responsibilities:
Training & TA Program Manager (TTPM) will prepare, facilitate, monitor,
evaluate and document all CoE technical assistance and training
activities.
The TTC will provide oversight and plan any training and technical
assistance request via the technology assistance management systems
(TAMS),
Facilitate and maintain collaborative projects with project partners.
Identify internal and external training programs to address competency
gaps, liaison with subject matter experts to map out plans for each
training/TA request, keep current on training design and methodology, and
track and develop reports on training.
TTC will work closely with AABH-COE Core teams leads to ensure that the
identified gaps/ barriers are addressed
Participate actively in required internal/ external meetings with staff
and stakeholders.
TTPM will participate in workgroups across the country that address
behavioral health disparities/ health equity, social determinants of
health.
TTPM will lead and participate in research projects.
TTPM will develop content and assist in the creation and dissemination of
AABH-COE products.
TTPM will facilitate behavioral health training via webinars and live
conferences/ summits.
TTPM will identify, engage, and collaborate with SMEs to assist with AABH-
COE training and other projects.
TTPM must have the ability to travel throughout the country as needed for
project-related activities.
Skills and Knowledge Required:
Senior management experience including participatory management and
planning style
Experience leading and coordinating collaborative projects
Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, in a multicultural
environment
Exhibit leadership skills and uphold with integrity the standards of the
University
Excellent writing ability for reporting research/evaluation findings
Computer skills for research, communication, and report generation
Knowledge of addiction treatment, recovery supports, and prevention, plus
the target populations
Travel and Any Other Special Conditions or Requirements:
Local and national travel required approximately 15% of the time.
