About the Role This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Program Director to lead the planning and delivery of Open Day 2023, one of the most exciting and important in the University's calendar. The event will have significant and highly visible digital and physical deliverables and plays a vital role in supporting student engagement strategy. You will have the opportunity to engage with a diverse network of stakeholders across the University, truly immersing yourself in our ecosystem and gaining valuable insights into our operations.
The Program Director – Open Day will report to the Associate Director of Student Marketing Communications and will play a key role in, developing, mobilising and executing the Open Day 2023 strategy, informed by learnings from Open Day 2022. The role will lead cross-discipline teams to establish an integrated plan and operating rhythm that ensures key deliverables are met on time and to budget.
Responsibilities include:
Develop project development and implementation plans to achieve desired outcomes for the program – including resource, budget, timing requirements/plans, risks registers and mitigation plans.
Provide strong leadership for the Program and ensure cross-functional teams are effectively engaged and aligned to achieve deliverables.
About You You are an experienced leader with demonstrated ability to lead and deliver customer-facing projects within a complex organisation, ideally with a digital focus. Your excellent interpersonal and engagement skills enable you to form effective working relationships with a diverse range of collaborators and motivate and manage teams to deliver high-quality outputs. You have an analytical and creative approach to problem-solving and finding new ways to deliver solutions that are best both for the University and customer.
