Position Summary
The Program Coordinator provides administrative leadership and oversight
related to program curriculum and expansion including alignment of mission and
goals of those with the institution. The Program Coordinator for the
Connecting Minority Communities Digital Impact Project (CMCDIP) is
responsible for overseeing the effective and timely implementation of all
components of CMCDIP. This includes budgetary input, and implementation and
evaluation of all programs. As a key member of the administrative team, the
Program Coordinator will organize faculty, students, staff, and resources to
support the development and delivery of a high-quality experience for internal
and external participants and stakeholders, while maintaining superior
customer service skills.
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited college or university
Experience:
2-4 years of work experience.

Job Duties
Description of Job Duty
Monitor/track the curriculum status of the project through its program
life cycle.
Develops strategies to achieve project objectives and goals; assists in
the efficient operation of the program, setting curricular priorities for
management, budget, and fiscal activities.
Supports faculty, staff and students at Morehouse School of Medicine and
our Atlanta Public Schools' partner institution with implementation and
facilitation of programmatic activities.
Responsible for planning, administering, reviewing, and evaluating all
activities related to project curriculum goals and objectives.
Develops, plans, coordinates, and implements activities including but not
limited to seminars, conferences, workshops, short courses, clubs, public
events, and other related projects.
Develops and coordinates new ideas and concepts from project themes,
materials and resources to supplement, expand or replace existing project
components.
Actively participates in professional and community meetings, seminars and
symposia as a representative of the project and institution, disseminating
project materials, research and evaluation findings, lessons learned and
best practices.
Assists in the development and formulation of the annual budget; prepares
budgetary documents and reports.
Contributes to website, brochures and other official literature.
Available to work evenings and weekends, as necessary.
