Scope of duties:
Leading research teams.
Implementation of research activities.
Coordination of Institute's scientific staff education and professional
development.
Cooperation with the economic environment, in particular industrial
plants, within the framework of research, expertise, analytical services
and R&D projects.
Active acquisition of new clients and customers.
Preparation of research project proposals and active application for
funding.
Promotion of the Institute's achievements within the social and economic
sectors.
Participation in the Institute's scientific initiatives.
Cooperation with other departments and administrative units of the
Institute.
Maintenance and improvement of the quality management system in the
organizational unit according to the PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025 standard.
Execution of other requests by the Managing Director in accordance with
the given position and function.

Specific Requirements
Scope of requirements:
Knowledge of the sector of science and higher education.
Communication and leadership skills, teamwork competences.
Professor title in agricultural, natural or STEM sciences.
Documented and recognizable scientific achievements within the R&D
activity at the Institute of Agricultural and Food Biotechnology – State
Research Institute . In particular, the h-index according to the
SCOPUS database > 30.
Experience in laboratory work.
Experience in management of research projects funded by the National
Science Centre, the National Centre for Research and Development and
others.
Good command of Polish and English, both written and spoken.
