The Department of Physician Assistant Medicine, in the College of Natural and
Health Sciences at The University of Tampa, is seeking qualified candidates

and has matriculated its first cohort of students.

The successful candidate is expected to demonstrate a commitment to excellence
in graduate physician assistant education teaching, which includes selecting
students for admissions, curriculum and program evaluation and assessment,
student instruction, assessment and remediation, mentoring of students
including capstone project advising, scholarly activity, and service within
the environment of a private liberal arts institution. Typical teaching load
is 9 credit hours per semester for 3 semesters during this 12-month contract
A Master's Degree as a physician assistant.
A Doctoral Degree is preferred.
Previous experience as a PA educator is preferred.
Evidence of teaching experience in an academic setting is required.
National certification as a physician assistant (NCCPA) is required.
